Taking A Leaf Out Of A Warlock’s Book

First posts are always so awkward.  Never quite know what to say, what to do… and they establish expectations that you know just isn’t going to be fulfilled.  A bit like about pages, really.

I deliberated for quite a while over whether or not I would say that this is an offshoot of Destructive Reach.  Part of me wanted to experiment and see if I could get a following for this blog on it’s own merits, rather than riding on the *very small* coattails of my other blog.  But, hey, you guys are smart – you would have worked out pretty quickly that I was actually Saresa, wouldn’t you?

I have been pondering making this space for quite a while.  I’ve been dedicating just as much play time to my Druid as I have my Warlock, and I kept finding myself wanting to write about my Druid experiences, but not wanting to flood Destructive Reach with it.  I could have changed the blog a bit, sure, but I like DR just the way it is.  So, this is my little space for my Druid to come out and play.

I would tell you all what you can expect from here, but you all know the drill (at least, you do if you have read my other blog, and I would be guessing that’s why you are here).  No, I don’t do theory craft.  I wander waaaay off topic.  I don’t write posts that are deemed worthy of linkage by other blogs.  But, I do bring a level of good humour to my writing (or, hell, I try to, when I’m not ranting that is!), and I do like to talk about all sorts of things.  This isn’t even a blog that I am planning to update on a regular basis… it’s just a place to stretch out and let my Druidic side flow.  So settle in, pour a cup of tea and relax… because, to me, that is what this particular blog is all about.

Woo hoo! I get to pop this blog’s cherry comment-wise. How does it feel knowing that you’ve joined the druid bandwagon and selling out your soul? Must be familiar, since you roll a warlock main :P

Oh ouch, that’s nasty Krizz! As for the soul thing, I have a whole bag spare… and yours might be the next one to fill the void!

Congratulations on the cherry popping lol, hope it thrilled you as much as it thrilled me!

  • Congrats on the spin-off, I’ve been toying with doing the same for my Paladin, as she’s pretty much as opposite as chalk and cheese for my warlock. Male/Female, Caster/Melee, Evil/Not-quite-as-evil, Cloth/Plate, Epic/Noob … and probably a lot of other major differences.

Will be keeping an eye on this blog, and if I do decide to throw caution to the wind and follow in your footsteps, I’ll be sure to let you know!

Thanks for the congrats! It’s certainly a lot of fun feeling like a ‘fresh’ WoW blogger, even when I am not… I don’t think this place will ever take off very much (we all know there’s a million and one resto Druid blogs out there, and mine would have to be the most inferior of the lot!), but it gives me a space to vent my Druidy stuff. Because it was taking up more space than what it deserved on the other blog.
